Summer Volunteer Opportunity

Hello!

I am the Event Producer for Minefaire, an Official Minecraft Community Event and the largest touring Minecraft-related event on the western hemisphere.

I am reaching out on behalf of the event to offer your students an opportunity that we are extending to the local schools all along our 2019 tour.

Minefaire is coming to Connecticut Convention Center on Saturday, August 17th and Sunday, August 18th and we would love to invite your students to participate at no charge under our Minefaire Agents Program!

As Minefaire Agents, your students will have an opportunity to help out as volunteers, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at what is involved in producing such a massive event.  They will also have an opportunity to experience the latest in video game tech, virtual reality, and meet celebrity Youtube personalities.

In addition, each student Agent will receive the following:
-FREE Admission to the event (when they are not volunteering, they will be able to enjoy the event)
-Volunteer/Community Service hours (this may be of strong interest to your NHS students or if your school requires community service hours))
-Official Minefaire Agent t-shirt, badge/lanyard, an exclusive pin
-Catered lunch provided
-& up to 50% off all Minefaire merchandise

The Agents positions are filling up quickly,  so urge your students to apply ASAP!

Here is a quick link your students may use to sign-up to be Minefaire Agents: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf7LQrtZW1EIX3hzHbkQVu6Y3LjCvwfjcgM5MuP9A3GqrgVfw/viewform

And here is the official website for Minefaire, so you can check us out and see what we are all about:

Feel free to reach out by phone or email. I would be happy to discuss the Minefaire Agent program with you.  We hope to see your students at Minefaire for an unforgettable experience!

Best,
